The following project was realized for the C.C.C. (Construction of the Carabinieri Brigade) and concernes the study of a hypothetical realization in concession on a public area of an Intermediate Command (Compagnia dell’Arma dei Carabinieri), as well as a nearby residential structure dedicated to service accommodation for the military and their families.

In the design hypothesis, the atelier consulted the ‘Genius Loci’ represented by the perimeter of the Cyclopean walls that surrounded the medieval nucleus of the ancient Volterra which dominated the Tuscan countryside. The suggestive scenary inspired the design which recalls the strong medieval towers that protected the medieval town of Volterra.
