Hotel in Via della Nocetta

Architectural

The study concerned the presentation of a project for a Tourist-Accommodation structure in an area already destined to Private Services of the Master Plan of Rome, subsequently removed as it was included within the perimeter of the ‘Valle dei Casali’ Natural Reserve. The design intent hypothesized an intervention of ‘naturalistic-type-architecture’, well inserted in the natural environment of particular value.

The designed structure provided a central body for the main hall and services, and two side wings. These were inserted into the surrounding ground with a stepped arrangement of the hotel rooms, in the natural amphitheater, facing the mirror-body of water opposite to them.
