The following project of this atelier concerns a building renovation and building stock of the complex known as “small train” in the Island of Giannutri, located in Tuscany, between the Island of Giglio and Monte Argentario. The conglomerate features a series of Villas designed in vernacular architecture using local materials.

The complex was closed for years due to a complicated legal situation however, thanks to the proposed design that respected the site and history of the area, the project was approved by the municipality of the Island of Giglio, the the Superintendent for Architectural and Urban Landscaping in Pisa, and finally the Tuscan Archipelago National Park.
